 Bleaching Chemicals

Bleaching is the removal of unwanted colour from the textile fibres and typically involves the use of some of the bleaching agents like: hydrogen peroxide, sodium hypochlorite, calcium hypochlorite or sodium chlorite etc. Hydrogen peroxide bleaching is performed under alkaline conditions and, as a result, may be combined with the scouring process. The process conditions during bleaching vary with the type of agent used.
